Instructor Bio
Tracey Stevenson 2nd Dan
Tracey a 'Bedlington lass' began her karate career at the age of 14 and achieved her 1st Dan black belt at 17 years old. After training for 10 years Tracey moved away from karate due to family and personal commitments.
In 2020, Tracey returned to Karate and joined the prestigious Sendai Kushiro Karate club in Durham/Sunderland, training under the expertise of Sensei's John Bruce (6th Dan) and Holly Bruce (5th Dan).
In 2021 Tracey qualified as an assistant instructor at Sendai Kushiro.
Tracey achieved her 2nd Dan black belt in 2022.
Recently, Tracey has returned to competition as a veteran and has been placed on the podium at both the North east regional championship in kata and the Shotokan cup for kumite.
2024- Tracey qualified as a Full Instructor and instructs at Sendai Kushiro and Kensho Karate Bedlington.
